Do u know how to rest your mind?
Whilst in Bali , I still felt nervous n anxious.
Its like the heart cannot rest, like holding on to the rein of a horse.
Until after the three hour massage,I was brought out of the spa villa to a deck which overlooked the hills n a setting sun.
Then I felt what it means to rest the mind.
As the earth turned down, the sky darkened n it brought a settling energy
I felt the settling feeling
It was good
I should feel that always.
不只感觉脚离开地面的时候，有rooted to the ground的感觉。
The beauty is in the action of walking
In the process of it, everytime a step is made, beauty is realized
Heart/mind on the ground, making a step with the foot
Suddenly u realise this is the root of all things
Because the heart/mind wanted n so the body followed
What insight 🙂
Rain was how Bali welcomed me yesterday.
As the van carried us uphill along the narrow road, the greens were waving hello in the strong winds.
Then we were at ungasan, where land prices was appreciating quickly, private villas blossomed.
A sound of the gong followed. We were given a baliese welcome ritual. Rice on our forehead signifying wealth. Holy water to rid the negatives. Frangipani for prosperity.
Then we were buggied to 308 our villa, where the bath area was insanely huge. And there was a big bale overlooking the opposite hills n skies. Open the door n u would b stepping into the pools.
I liked the pouring waters.
Then FaceTime .
It was a funny feeling to b using it.
You felt so near, there was no space in between u suddenly find urself at a loss what to say.
Bcoz everything could b seen.
It seemed near yet far.
I feel it distanced people more than it brings two nearer.
Then I thought of how we used to talk when we first started.
In the night, when all was quiet, and voices were crisp, so were feelings.
There was a distance in between, but it felt near.

How true this is.
When you remember that you are the author of your own life story, you are free to create a masterpiece. We all have our own life story. It is filled with relationships and events that help shape who we are and what we believe to be true about the world.
Depending on our perspective and willingness to grow, our experiences can become fodder for negativity and patterns of playing the victim, or they can fuel a life of empowerment and continued self-development. It is the story we tell ourselves about what happens that makes all the difference.
Take a moment to look at the life story you create for yourself on an ongoing basis. If you generally feel peaceful about the past and trust in your ability to handle whatever comes your way, then you are framing circumstances in a manner that serves you well. On the other hand, if you retain a lot of guilt or resentment and often feel weighed down by life, you may want to start telling yourself a new version of past and present events.
No matter who the characters are in your story or what they have done, you are the only one who can give their actions the meaning they will have for you. You are the only one who can define what role you will play in your own life. By taking responsibility for your story, you are able to learn and grow, forgive and find compassion, and most importantly, move on into a brighter future.
From now on, you can choose a life story that supports you. Let it be proof of your own resilience and creativity. Be kind with the roles you give yourself and generous with how many chances you get to learn what you need to know. When you remember that you are the author of your own story, you are free to create a masterpiece.
